My Story

I retired from the Police in 2022 which also saw the 10 year anniversary (for want of a better term) since PC Nicola Hughes was killed in the line of duty. 

Those that know me, know that I do a lot of running so to earn your sponsorship, I am doing more than the proposed marathon!

As well as self funding to take part in the Chicago Marathon as part of Nicola's fathers inspirational team, I am also running the Washington Marathon in October and Boston next year.

Funds raised will form part of the memorial funds ongoing campaign to provide practical support to those children left behind following the loss of a parent through violent crime.

The aims & priorities remain the same and that is to fund anything practical that allows those children to continue their educational dreams, plan a further educational future, start training for a career or just go to school without worrying about the school uniform or IT equipment they need.

The fund will of course look at other areas that may offer support and assistance.
